Jump Start Your Business for 2021
Hello. There are just two weeks before Halloween. This is a great opportunity to leverage this holiday to increase your contact with your sphere and with potential buyers, sellers and referral sources.
Below are just a few ideas for projects you can do in the age of COVID. (No trick-or-treating or parties, unfortunately! ) Please add your own to the mix.
Send or drop off:
Buy pumpkins or candy or baked goods and deliver to your best clients and referral sources.
Send custom Halloween cards, store-bought cards or ecards to everyone on your list.
On social media:
Post pictures of your favorite homes that are decorated for Halloween. You can ask viewers to vote on their favorite.
Post a video tour of the most colorfully-decorated properties in your neighborhood or farming area.
Dress up your pet for the holiday and post pics.
Hold a virtual pumpkin carving contest. Ask people to post pictures and give a prize or two for best pumpkins (maybe have a children’s category and an adult category).
In an eblast:
List places (on-line or in town) that sell great decorations and candy and supplies.
List ideas for a virtual Halloween Zoom party for your children or your friends.
Re-post interesting recipes and decorating ideas.
I’m sure that you have a lot more great ideas. What’s the most important thing to do?? ANYTHING! Just pick a few projects that will keep you in front of your sphere and client base. And block off time in your calendar to get this done!
